COUBERTIN is a dual winning son of Champion sire REDOUTES CHOICE an emerging sire of sires from the outstanding broodmare and AJC Oaks winner CIRCLES OF GOLD also the dam of mutipule group one winners and highly regarded sires ELVSTROEM and HARADASUN.

COUBERTIN becomes the fourth son of the great mare CIRCLES OF GOLD to embark on a stud career following ELVSTROEM, HARADASUN & GOLD CENTRE (who is proving very popular in New Zealand).

 

COUBERTIN is an imposing type standing 16.1HH who showed great promise and was highly regarded by his trainer Tony Vasil winning 2 races at 1300 and 1400 metres from 7 starts until a suspensory injury forced his retirement.

 

He will stand at Greta West in association with his breeders Frank Tagg, Garry Moffitt and Frank Meduri.
